New Lotion Trend That Changes Everything

I hope this new trend of lotion in the shower never dies. Why? Because it is the best thing since sliced bread! Since the fall weather has officially started in the northwest, it is time to fight the dry skin. I found it a nice treat to try Curel Hydra Therapy that was gifted to me from Crowdtap for an honest review. I found Curel Hydra Therapy to be a thick lotion. I was concern that it would be a sticky mess. Though after drying, I found that my skin was lotioned with no extra film. The hint is to pat the skin dry. This will help the lotion go deeper and not remove all the lovely lotion you just applied. You can thank me later when you find your skin feeling just as nourished if you added a normal lotion, but still feeling like you're not coated in it. As I keep trying these new Shower lotions, I am enjoying trying these different style of lotions. Each have a great value and style.

The Mom's Mini Vacation Jergens Wet Skin

When I was a mom of a very young child, finding self-care time seemed like a dream. I am sure there are so many more who have been or are in that place. So my self-time became those few minutes where I can take a shower, hope my child doesn't follow me in, and make myself feel like a human again.  My favorite thing was when I got to apply lotion to make my skin feel soft again. This added chance was a treat though, since by then someone would have realized I was gone and was in the search of her favorite play partner.

This concept of applying your lotion in the shower must have been designed from a mom! Now you can just get that extra few seconds to lather up some lotion, dry up and be done in time. No more missing that extra treat that us moms need so much to feel human! 

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer was a treat to get to try through Crowdtap. First, a little goes a long way since you are applying on wet skin. Once lathered up in lotion, simply pat dry. There isn't a feeling of extra layer of lotion. In fact, it just feels like you have healthy skin. You will find that your skin still has that soft touch and clean feeling as the day goes on. The one I tried had coconut oil in it that really gave a enjoyable tropical smell. Your short vacation before having to be a mom again!

Fiber One Cheesecake House Party

What cheesecake you say? I have met very few people who don't like cheesecake, but those who do find comfort in it's creamy texture and sweet love. Fiber One's cheesecake bars always had a great hit with their Strawberry and Salted Caramel, so how can you top that?

Easy, bring out two flavors that will knock everyone off their feet. 

I would have liked to say they are as good as the Strawberry Cheesecake, since I had checked them out before. But no, Fiber One had to make these even better. Yes, this was a sponsored party by Fiber One and House Party, but this review is an honest on the new flavors. 

I first tried the Key Lime Cheesecake. It was a shock of how creamy it was. The Key Lime is crisp, tangy and sweet. It really gives Key Lime justice. I was so sure this would be my favorite. But then, I tried the Chocolate Cheesecake bar. In one bite, you have melting chocolate in your mouth. I would describe it close to a fudge brownie. So final count... DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!  

But wait, there is more. Each bar is only 150 calories and 20% daily value of fiber. With is also being low in sodium and fat, it makes this the best treat for yourself. A treat that can be on the go like many of us are. On the way to school or work, on the way to sports practices, on the way to seeing good friends, on the way... you get the idea. It is also great way to treat yourself after a long day without the guilt of the extra calories. 

Overall, I found this to be a pleasant treat that not only I enjoyed, but my friends and family did too. Sadly I missed getting pictures a few others, but they all loved the treat. I even had the cashier at the grocery store tell me how much she loves them. Way to go Fiber One for out doing yourself! And, thank you Houseparty for letting me host a party of such a great product.
